Official Dart Rules

There are may variations of darts along with a number of dartboards for the different games. Here we will start by going over the basics and most commonly played games. The Darts Regulation Authority is the official organization governing the current rules and regulations of the game. 
What is needed to play darts?
  • 2 sets of three darts
  • Dartboard
  • Plenty of room 
  • It is recommended to have good lighting around the dartboard
Measurements
The standard height from the floor to the bullseye is 5'8" while the distance between the front of the board and player 
measures 7 feet and 9.25 inches. Mark the distance 7 feet 9.25 inches so the players know where to stand.  The mark is known as an Oche or Toeline.
