Rules for How to Play Standard Vogelpiks
This is the standard game that is played in most piks tournaments and league play. The reason why is it is purely a skill game to see who can throw the best piks. Each player throws 4 piks per round with 5 total rounds. Piks are scored based on the ring values below and then are removed from the board before the next player goes. It is customary to wait until your opponent reviews the score before they are pulled. The highest total score after 5 rounds wins the game and another round can serve as a tie breaker. |
Scoring Standard Vogelpiks
To score this game on the chalkboard, write down all of the players names and allow for 6 rows under them for the 5 rounds + 1 total. Write down the score for each round under each of the names and total the scores at the end of the game. The player with the highest score wins. The rules for the ring scoring values are:
